The gazebo by the lake. It's peaceful and pretty!

Which campus event do you never miss (and why)?

I never miss the Visiting Writers Series. Two great writers presenting their work and answering questions, what else could you want!

What does it mean to be a Laker?

To me, being a Laker means to be outgoing, empathetic, and a leader.

If you could have one superpower while helping students, what would it be?

If you could give your freshman self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Please use your professors' office hours. They make those hours for you, so please use them. Also, go to events and join a club! Build your community that motivates you everyday!

What song always get you pumped for the day?

Honestly it really depends on the morning! On days I need more energy, I listen to Linkin Park or Tyler, The Creator. Some days, I want to listen to "Nunca es Suficiente," by Natalia Lafourcade or Chet Baker. It really all depends on how I'm feeling that day. However, if I have to pick one song, "Dracula" by Tame Impala has recently without fail made me feel pumped for the day.

I especially love mastering challenging bakes like croissants and donuts.
